GOH and strategic teaming partner Westat were selected to provide comprehensive external grant evaluation services to the twenty three (23) community colleges within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), their educational foundations, the statewide system office, and the statewide educational foundation. The types of projects, programs, and special initiatives for which the team will provide evaluation services include, but are not limited to: STEM, Health Care, Student Success Initiatives, Workforce Training, Capacity Building, Veterans Services, Achieve 2015 Strategic Plan Goals, RETHINK Reengineering Initiatives, Statewide Adult Career Coaches, Statewide High School Career Coaches, and PluggedInVA. These programs and initiatives receive grant funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Transportation, Ford Foundation, Kresge Foundation, Lumina Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
