GOH would like to announce the May 2013 award for the Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement (OII) Peer Review, Technical, and Administrative Support contract. GOH is sub-contracting in partnership with Longevity Consulting.
The Longevity Consulting/GOH contract for OII provides logistical and administrative support for peer reviews of OII programs as well as Project Directors meetings. The purpose of these reviews is to provide for a competitive and objective evaluation by well-qualified reviewers chosen for their expertise and ability to assess a proposed project’s quality. These reviews are the foundation for higher-level funding decisions and help ensure that awards are made on a fair and impartial basis. GOH will provide administrative and logistical support, and report results for: activities associated with the recruitment, training, evaluation, and management of peer reviewers; conducting peer reviews (via teleconference, e-reader, and on-sight); reviewing and improving the current peer review system; and designing and reproducing guidance documents. Also, assist program staff throughout the planning and execution of Project Directors meeting. This includes: securing conference venues, participant lodging, and guest speaker participation; coordinating registration of attendees and hotel logistics; working with program staff to develop the agenda, supporting materials, transcriptions, and presentations as necessary.
