NIH ADP (NIHCATS-III Task Order: Advancing Diversity Programs (ADP) Conference)

The NIH recently hosted a one-day convening of thought leaders on the issue of enhancing the diversity of the biomedical workforce, with a focus on institutional programs around the U.S. that produce the most significant numbers of students who earn a Ph.D. in biomedical science fields and who are from racial and ethnic groups underrepresented in the biomedical sciences.

GOH is providing full event-lifecycle support to support the important mission of this highly visible NIH event. Support services include: project management support; working group project management support; serving as a liaison with NIH Campus facilities, security, and AV/IT teams; travel coordination, payment, and reimbursement for domestic and international travelers; event set-up, staging, and logistics; meeting material development; transcription services; transportation and security logistics; and onsite support for the event. During the planning stages, due to the high visibility of the event and attendees, it was imperative to accommodate certain attendees’ schedules. GOH and NIH worked together to navigate event date changes and GOH remained responsive and accommodating of technical direction and needs of NIH OD.
