This grant represents the first of a three-phase project that will ultimately design and develop a Louis Stokes Midwest Center of Excellence (LSMCE) BP DL of historical program records, such as data, reports, articles, white papers, videos, and publications. The digital repository of historical program records will build the capacity of both the LSAMP grantee and broadening participation communities by increasing the capacity of LSAMP to foster knowledge sharing and promote diversity in STEM fields and careers. The LSMCE BP DL will develop a system for cataloging the documents and information, digitize the entire collection of documents and records, and house them in a searchable digital library. The LSMCE BP DL will also enable broader dissemination of LSAMP outcomes, impacts, and evidence-based best practices by increasing accessibility to this information.
