GOH is looking for a dynamic Project Manager (PM) specializing in the management of professional services and management consulting contracts. This is not an IT PM position. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional leadership and customer services skills who can easily transfer and apply management skills across content areas and contract types. You must be an excellent and strategic communicator who is comfortable working with all levels of staff and clients – from administrative assistants to members of congress. Expertise and experience within the fields of education, research, and policy as well as relevant PMI certifications are highly desired.

The following examples of current GOH activities illustrate the diversity of our portfolio: building a web-based digital library with a team of institutions of higher education and National Labs, organizing and executing an International summit, managing the discretionary grant peer review logistics for multiple federal agencies, and developing integrated grants management IT solutions for the federal Grants Management Line of Business.

Experience: 2 years of customer service and/or helpdesk experience

Location: Frederick, MD

Essential Functions: The PM is responsible for the management of all task orders, development of associated timelines, work plans, risk mitigation activities, and quality assurance mechanisms; daily reporting and monitoring; and the strategic allocation of resources and personnel within the project schedule and budget. We are looking for someone who knows how to build a collaborative and positive work environment, empower team members, and leverage relationships to bring in additional business.

  • Must be self-starter, extremely organized and detail oriented
